what's your brand?

What is the My Brand Program?

Identity. Purpose. Leadership.

The My Brand program helps students explore their values, behaviours and motivations through their own personal brand. Facilitated across two full-day sessions, students strengthen emotional intelligence, build self-awareness and develop values-based action.

This isn’t just wellbeing. This is identity in action.

SESSION 1

  • Students begin by decoding brand logos and what they represent. The twist? They learn to see themselves as a brand too.

    They explore:

    • How their behaviour shapes how others see them
    • What traits they believe they’re known for

    Student Output:

    • A short list of 3–5 personal traits they believe represent how they’re perceived
    • Foundations of emotional self-awareness established

  • Students step into the world of personal values framed as their "superpowers".

      They explore:

    • Explore what matters to them through collaborative activities
    • Compare their self-selected traits to results from a character strengths survey

    Student Output:

    • A shortlist of their top 3 core values
    • Beginnings of a personal journal reflecting on where those values show up in life

  • Students now connect the dots between who they are and the things they do.

    They explore:

    • Intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation
•How living by their values fuels confidence, clarity and motivation
•What they stand for and why it matters

    Student Output:

    • A visual ‘identity map’ showing their values, motivators and self-concept
    • Increased personal agency and clarity of self

SESSION 2

  • This is the practical mindset shift. Students brainstorm what it looks like to live their values across all spaces (school, home, online).

    They explore:

    •Brand-aligned behaviours
•Specific actions that represent their personal values in motion

    Student Output:

    • A shortlist of 3–5 real-life, values-aligned behaviours
    • A plan for what it means to “walk the talk” in everyday choices

  • This is where emotional intelligence becomes visible. Using the SOAR Framework, students design a project that aligns with their values.

It could be a community act, a peer initiative, a creative campaign, or a wellbeing gesture.

    They explore:

    • How to turn values and identity into impact

    Student Output:

    • A complete SOAR Plan with clear motivation, achievable steps and goals
    • A commitment to a student-led IMPACT event that brings their brand to life

IMPACT SHOWCASE

  • This final stage elevates student voice. Students share their impact project, reflect on their growth and receive recognition.

Schools can host a live showcase with peers, staff and parents to highlight student leadership, wellbeing, and identity growth.

    They explore:

    • How to communicate through engaging, creative ways.

      Student Output:

    • A public-facing presentation, portfolio or reflection
    • Documentation and evidence of emotional growth
    • Celebration of confidence, leadership and personal impact
